Although I am not sure who you are, I have a pretty good idea. If I am right, you are large, brown, furry, and like to live in tunnels in either my shed or under my sun room. You need to know that you are NOT welcome in either of those places. Perhaps the bricks and rocks that I keep shoving in your holes might have given you a clue about that, but it seems you need a more obvious reprimand. Go away!
I am also very angry at you for digging in my vegetable pots. The lettuce, beans and carrots are NOT for you. Neither is the broccoli which will be making its way outside shortly. Neither are my future tomatoes!! If you want to have vegetables, grow them yourself.
Please take this warning seriously. You do not want to mess with my garden. Find another place to live.

Since Mike is off at the Cadet-a-ree today, I have his computer and lots of extra time to look through pictures. Peter still refuses to roll over for me even though he gets LOTS of opportunity to practice! He just hates being on his tummy, and I feel a little bad because it always makes him puke. I'm looking forward to the time when he outgrows his puking habits! It make for a lot of extra laundry!

I've had readers from some interesting places, and I'm usually surprised at the fact that people keep checking back on my blog even though I think it's getting a little boring. I have to say, I appreciate our local newspaper, The Niagara News. I like knowing what's going on around town, and I always enjoy perusing the classifieds... lately I've been amused by my discoveries there.

5 Months and Counting

Peter had his 5 month birthday last week, and on that day I noticed his first tooth coming in! He hasn't been incredibly cranky about it at all, which has been nice for all of us. We are enjoying his smiles and laughs, and his increasing amount of talking as well. He rolled over for the first time just a while ago, but since that day he has only done it once and refuses to even give it a try! I'm not feeling incredibly wordy, and it's taking me a long time to organize these pictures, so I think I'll just leave it at that, and hope you enjoy them...

This Past Weekend

The Last Few Weeks

Peter with his first taste of rice cereal. About two weeks after this, he had some again, for the second and probably last time. We're not sure if it was the cereal, his formula, or the 4 month shots he had in the morning, but he had a serious allergic reaction in the evening which had us rushing him to the hospital. By the time we got there, he had calmed down, his breathing was back to normal, and he was actually extremely happy, but his face was still puffy and the hives had not gone down. I am searching for a good pediatrician for him now. No fun to deal with allergies!!
