Playing Garbage Truck
The rules for playing Garbage Truck are fairly simple. It requires at least one person to play, but it gets exponentially more fun as you add players. Begin with a chosen location. This location could be the couch, the coat closet, any one of the bedroom closets, your baby brother's crib, or just the middle of the floor. You could even choose your baby brother as your location if you wish. This location will be known as the "Garbage Truck". Next, collect every move-able item from the surrounding area, and deposit them one at a time into your Garbage Truck. These items are the Garbage Bags. These items can include (but are not limited to) toys, pillows, blankets, books, stuffed animals, train tracks, puzzle pieces, clothing, and any random thing that your mother may not have put away out of your reach. As items from the immediate surroundings become scarce, move your search for Garbage Bags to other rooms in the house, successfully relocating whatever you can manage before your mother puts an end to the chaos. Guaranteed to lift your mood and provide much fun (not guaranteed to provide as much fun for Mom). Garbage Truck location: The Couch
Garbage Truck location: The Coat Closet
Garbage Truck location: Baby Brother (January)
Garbage Truck location: Baby Brother / Pack and Play (January)

Wow...this post certainly brought back memories from Caleb and Anna doing EXACTLY the same thing. EVERYTHING remotely close to the couch in the basement was thrown on the couch - then, the two of them would sit on top of the pile -admiring the view and their accomplishments. Within 5 minutes they would walk away from the "dump" and play somewhere else because it was too messy!
Laura :)
hmmm....looks like our boys could get along well! =) Mine do the same thing.
It's just too big of a mess for them to figure out how to clean up... so they leave it all behind. Agh! Why do the most fun things have to be so messy??
Ah, Rachel, your posts keep me laughing. Poor you though, that's quite the garbage pile for clean up!
Too funny! (Even more funny when the rules have been explained.)
haha, love it! :)
